Cape Lodge Restaurant
6 course set menu. Only enjoyed 3 courses - the prawn dish, the fish dish & the dessert. The rest was basic to poor. Cheese plate basic, beetroot dish with runny egg basic & the lamb neck absolutely awful - full of fat & gristle had to search for small bits to eat. The sommelier was excellent & knowledgable & the rest of the staff were great. Wine & drinks excellent. The food menu needs major elevating if this is supposed to be a fine dining experience with quality. Restaurant setting & ambience great.

This is perfect French fine dining in the region. The five star experience. Greatly welcomed taking our coat away. Great suggestion of wine with the food I was having. Menu options are perfectly balanced. The waiter beautifully displayed their seafood platter as if we were at the local shop. Meal was perfectly cooked. Napkins perfectly folded every time you leave the table. Bathroom is spotless with hand towels per use ⭐️ and awesome hand wash. The whole restaurant has view on the lake.

Excellent food and service. We had duck and steak for mains and scallops for starters. All were beautiful. The waiter gave fantastic recommendations for wine. We loved it all.

Delicious 3-course set menu with wine, sides, and tea/coffee for $89! Great service too. Would definitely visit again!

Absolutely beautiful experience. Can't fault anything. Celebrating my 40th with the best restaurant , food Can't wait to go back and service was exceptional from start to finish. Thanking everyone who seeved us on the 25th March 21.... was a perfect nite.

The restaurant used to be fantastic but its lost some of its sparkle. The food is good but nothing special.Almost no locals eat there which is quite telling.

We stayed at Cape Lodge for our Wedding Anniversary & booked into the restaurant for dinner. We had the most amazing experience there! The whole staff at the lodge & restaurant are fantastic & most professional. We had our room upgraded free of charge on arrival & at dinner the manager even presented a complimentary glass of champagne for our Anniversary. We could not fault this place. World class! Thankyou everyone at Cape Lodge , your professionalism & staff service to your clientelle is the best we have ever experienced.
