My fiance and I had dinner here last night and the food and drinks were great. The pistachio and bees knees cocktails were fab!Great location!

I had the 3 course set menu for dinner, I started with the entree pan seared scallops for mains I picked the barramundi and to finish off the evening was a deconstructed trifle. The lounges white and red wine list was quite good strongly recommended giving it a shot, overall I had a great time will definitely come back.

So, today we went for lunch in Mt Helena at Amaroo Spa. Lovely location.We started with oysters. They have an Oyster menu. We had a selection of natural, red wine, Thai, Tabasco granita and kilpatrick.Not cheap but tasty, husbands favourites were the Thai.I had the creamy garlic prawns with citrus salad, it was very nice and a great accompanimentFor mains, just 4 choices, I had the crispy skin salmon. Delicious, the plate didn’t look substantial but it was filling enough.The guys had steak sandwich which was very tasty, in Turkish bread and very tender to the bite. Comes with the usual chips and some aioli.For dessert we opted for a mango parfait which was refreshing and the fellas had the chocolate fondant with an extra dollop of ice creamFinished off with coffee.For 4 of us it came to almost $600 .. soon adds up! That included a bottle of red, 3 cocktails, 2 beers, 2 soft drinks, 2baileys and a Galliano.Overall delicious, would go again and recommend.

Food top quality, also the presentation. Very good selections of drinks and wine. Staff very friendly, I highly recommend it.

The food at Amaroo lounge was first class, and so was all of the staff, excellent service delivered by well mannered staff.they didn't try to rush you to choose from menu they let have time to choose at you pace.Photos of Entre, Mains & dessert.Food Tasted great, even though I had never tried entre food before, glad I did decide to try it.Also had breakfast the next day, warning the breakfasts are great ,but, big I couldn't eat it all.

We had a 2 night stay at Amaroo and dined in the Restaurant for both breakfast and dinner (with cocktails) and the food was amazing. Great service with friendly staff. We chose a 2 course dinner and both the starter and main did not disappoint. Would 100% recommend and we will return. Thank you Amaroo!

Wonderful restaurant tucked away among a beautiful forest. Felt so serene. Restaurant itself was superb staff were very attentive making sure we were well looked after.Food was delicious as were the cocktails.Thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at the lounge. Highly recommend.Our only downfall was not many lunch mains to choose from.

The Lounge at Amaroo
We stay at the Amaroo retreat two days, so we enjoyed the lounge from breakfast to dinner.The variety of food embraces different cuisines and really surprise me. The wine list is international and very comprehensive.I can see the chef love, in every plate, offering to his clients an amazing experience.I will be back for sure, the lounge is a great plus to the retreat, it makes such a difference to my experience

The food and service in the restaurant was not impressive... unnecceassary expensive food for the value .. the atmosphere is nice and it is a very special place , but really you need to revisit the service in the restaurant and the pricing ..

The Lounge at Amaroo
We had a great few hours at Amaroo, the signature couples massage was one of best we have had. And we enjoyed the pool and then had some oysters and a share plate in the lounge. Lovely peaceful haven to relax in the hills.
